Franco Morra, Founder and Managing Director of winsight, holds a Marketing Master and a PhD in Economics and Health Care Management of the University of St. Gallen (Dr. oec. HSG).

At HSBC from 2010 to 2018 he radically transformed and made the Private Banking Business fit for the future, holding various Senior Management Positions such as Regional CEO EMEA, CEO Private Banking Switzerland, Chairman of the Board of Asset Management Switzerland as well as Country Manager Switzerland. During this time he also acted as the Chairman of the Foreign Banking Association of Switzerland (AFBS), Member of the BoD Committee and Audit Committee of the Swiss Banking Association (SBA) as well as of GPF - Genève Place Financière. Finally he was also Board Member of the HSBC Group Swiss Pension Fund.

Previously he worked from 2005 to 2010 at UBS as Regional Head of Wealth Management Western Europe, Middle East and Americas. At his last assignment he was appointed CEO of UBS Switzerland and Member of the UBS Group Executive Board, where he stabilized successfully the UBS Swiss Core Businesses (Retail and Corporate Banking, Wealth and Asset Management, and Investment Banking) after the Financial Crisis together with his newly appointed leadership team.

From 1992 to 2005 he was a Management Consultant and worldwide Partner at The Boston Consulting Group with focus on strategic repositioning, global growth, operational effectiveness, M&A and Post Merger Integration Projects for leading Blue Chips in Health Care (Pharma, Biotechs, Medtechs), in Consumer Goods & Retail (Consumer Discretionary and Staples) and in Financial Services (Banking, Reinsurance) as well as for Professional Services B2B Companies.

Franco is married and proud father of four children.
